New Ghost props

This year I really want to focus on the Drive-Thru Haunt. I want there to be 8 defined scene with each scene telling a story. For the story to come to life I am creating new characters. The first characters we are going to look at are my ghost family. These ghost are inspired by the ghost used at Tokyo Disneyland. Here is my inspiration photo.

Since I don't have a budget like Disney I have to create these ghost on my own. To do this I'm following a great artist Scott from Stolloween techniques with papier mache. I've wanted to try his techniques for about 4 years but was always nervous about it. So this year I finally decided it was time. I have not finished a ghost yet but have 3 in the making. Here is a photo of a ghost in the making.

Once finished this ghost will be 1 of 3 in a Hillbilly Ghost scene. She will be pointing and laughing at the other ghost. I'll post more photos as I continue to work on her. The next step is to work on her arms, face and hair.

Happy Hauntings,

Halloween at Tee Lake 2010

We wanted to start with some pictures of our 2010 display so that you can understand our haunts look and feel. We try to create realistic sets that are both kooky spooky and yet scarey. The Drive-Thru haunt is family friendly so we try to not have to much blood and gore. This was our first year at Tee Lake Resort so we plan on adding a lot of new things to this years haunt. Starting our Halloween Blog

I decided to start a Halloween blog so people could see behind the scenes of Halloween at Tee Lake, Tee Lake Resort's Halloween drive-thru and haunted house. People always ask how things are made, where they are stored and what's new to the display. So I hope that this will give people the answers to their questions.
